DAY 1

PANAMA CITY – TRANSFER IN (-)

Individual arrival at the international airport of Tocumen. Your driver will take you to your hotel in the city center. Your Panama vacation has begun!

DAY 2

PANAMA CITY TOUR (B)

Panama City Tour including

– a visit to the ruins of Panamá Viejo, the country’s first settlement from the 16th century

– a walking tour of old city center Casco Antiguo (UNESCO World Heritage site)

– a stop at the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal with its observation terrace and museum

DAY 3

PANAMA CITY – DAVID – BOQUETE (B)

Today a 45-minute flight to David awaits you. From there the driver takes you to the mountain village of Boquete. It is known for its friendly people, cool, fresh climate and unspoiled nature. Flowers, coffee, vegetables, and citrus fruits grow here in rich fertile soil. Explore the cute little town that definitely makes our best places to visit in Panama list. Short hike.

DAY 4

BOQUETE (B)

Today you will enjoy a unique experience: an exciting walk on suspension bridges. Or for the adrenaline junkies: try ziplining (surcharge applies). From the top, you will get a whole new view of nature. Observe the cloud forest and waterfalls from a bird’s perspective!
Later, we take you into the world of coffee. The process of growing, harvesting, and processing of the coffee fruit are explained.

DAY 5

BOQUETE – ALMIRANTE – BOCAS DEL TORO (B)

In the morning a 3-hour shared transfer to Almirante on the Caribbean coast awaits you. A water taxi takes you to the island of Colón. In the little town, you will find cozy bars, restaurants, and shops. Enjoy the relaxed, typically Caribbean atmosphere.

Afternoon at leisure.

Discover the area by renting a kayak or bicycle. Visit beautiful beach Playa Bluff or take a water taxi to Carenero island and have a cocktail at my favorite bar Bibi’s on the Beach!

DAY 6

BOCAS DEL TORO / BOAT TOUR RED FROG BEACH (B)

Today you will enjoy a boat tour. You will see mangroves and have lunch (not incl.) at Coral Cay. There is time for swimming and snorkeling. Later the boat tour continues to Isla Bastimentos. The island is surrounded by mangroves, dense jungle, and fresh air. There are no roads or runways – the perfect place for adventure and nature lovers. No visit to Bocas is complete without a stop at its most famous beach “Red Frog Beach”, named after the red arrow-poison frog.

DAY 7

BOCAS – END OF TOUR (B)

OPTION 1

Beach Extension in Bocas del Toro

Individual beach extension. There is so much more to explore or just rest & relax. We’ll be happy to give you a quote for a beach stay in one or more of the many beautiful boutique hotels on the various islands.

OPTION 2

Visit Costa Rica

Bocas del Toro is very close to the border to Costa Rica. If you have a few more days, we’ll happily work on an extension program in Costa Rica.

OPTION 3

Return to Panama City

Fly back to Panama City. Spend another night here or fly back home in the evening.

How about including a Partial Crossing of the Panama Canal on your Panama vacation? Departures are every Sat, more dates on request.

Return to Panama City & include a beach extension

Fly back to Panama City.

From Panama City, you can add beach extensions to the Pearl islands (Pacific) or the breathtakingly beautiful San Blas islands, also called Guna Yala (Caribbean).
